Established on Nov 12th, 1998. by Hillsborough County Commissioners to continue the Improvement, Administration and Maintenance of the Properties/Assests within the District. The SDD Board obligation is outlined and governed by Hillsborough County and it authorities concerning Special Dependent Districts. Definition: In Florida, a special district is local special-purpose government. Special districts are very similar to cities and counties. They have governing boards with policy-making powers, provide essential governmental services and facilities, and operate in a limited geographical area.
The current assessment charge for 2024 per homeowner is $100.00 per year and it is reflected the Homeowner's Yearly Tax Bill under the Non-Ad Valorem section. The Cap Limit to be charged is currently $100.00 a year. This amount cannot be raised without a Vote by Referendum through the Supervisors of Elections. Taxes are paid in arears so this assessment will be in you 2024 property tax bill.
The SDD District Boundaries are described in Exhibit "A" outlined in Ordinance 98-53 to include ELP Unit: One, Two and Three. Subdivision located on the SW Corner of Orient Road and Hillsborough Ave. Other Main roadways surrounding or entering our community are Harney Rd , Draper Place, Thrasher Dr, and Walton Way. Other main Highways are: MLK, Hwy I-4 and Hillsborough Ave.

Q: Do I have to send/mail in the Annual Assessment to the SDD Board?
A: No, it is part of and in your annual property Tax Bill that comes out every November. The County collects this assessment and deposits into the Districts Bank Account.

A: Yes, please submit an email to us or please come to our monthly meetings. Every 3rd Tueday of the Month at 6:45pm at the Civic Center Bldg located at 7217 Kingsbury Circle Tampa, FL 33610
Q: How can I join the ELP SDD Board?
A: Please come to the meeting and voice your request. You can be appointed to the Board or go through the Election process through the Supervisors of Elections. We can guide you either way.
